Umiya Sushi is a japanese in San Antonio, Texas. It is listed at 911 N Hunt Ln #102, San Antonio, TX 78251, which places it among the local businesses of San Antonio that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Antonio, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Texas run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AM–10:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Its website is umiyasa.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

San Antonio is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Antonio follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We’ve been looking forward to this location opening for a while, and it exceeded all of our expectations! We’ve visited the I-10 and I-35 locations before, and honestly, this one is our favorite. Even during their soft opening, the service was outstanding. Our waitress, Desy, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. When our steak teriyaki came out a little cold, she immediately took the initiative to have a fresh, hot order made and informed the manager, Jackie. He went above and beyond to make things right, even though he didn’t have to. We really appreciated how much they cared about making sure we had a great experience. It was also great to see Andrian again! We recognized him from the I-10 location and were happy to see a familiar face. He made our boba drinks, and they were delicious and refreshing. The only small suggestion would be to add a bit more brown sugar to the boba and boil them for a little longer. But overall it was good! We also loved the atmosphere here. It’s a little smaller than the other locations, but it feels much cozier and isn’t nearly as loud or crowded. Our food came out quickly, and the staff was always on top of clearing away dirty plat

I'm a big sushi fan so let me give you my honest review of the place. I went to go grab the all-you-can-eat lunch option ($22.95/person) and I was presented with a lot of different options to choose from. I will say that the sushi that I ordered are all very, very flavorful. The rice base that they serve is slightly warm, but it shouldn't too cold that would make the sushi dry and hard to chew. the rice base makes the sushi eating it a lot more meldable. That way when you're eating it, it sort of makes it easier to chew and more of the other flavors from the other ingredients of the sushi can come out. I like how I'm given a generous amount of wasabi, ginger, spicy mayo, and eel sauce at the start. There is also low sodium and regular soy sauce. Nigiri is very good here since the rice base is slightly warm, making it meld more nicely with the fish and also making the vinegar stand out a bit more. The raw salmon is very fresh. Eel is also flavorful. Decorations are also wonderful here. My server is punctual, quick, and attentive. The presentation of the sushi is phenomenal. They pay attention to detail in how they present the plates. I like how they add flowers and a little banana l

I love Umiya naturally, and having one open up so much closer to me is a luxury. This one is cute, nice, and clean. Desy out server was very attentive and grade A service. I’ll be coming back and hopefully order an alcoholic drink when the bar opens up!
